On the 23rd of August 2010 - two years ago - I set out on a journey to create a series of 20 articles on the “Rules of Success” for you.

Little did I know then, of the amount of tears that will be shed in my personal life from that time till now. But things are starting to look up now eventually. It is by no means the end of it - oo noo. But there is starting to appear in the future the glimmer of hope.

And today - success - at last! Eventually, after much perseverance, I wrote the last in the series of 20 articles. Yay! Sweet is the taste of success!

So without ado here is the list of 20 articles on how to make a success - for you to read and enjoy.

And I pray that these articles will bring you a thousand times more joy than the pain I had to endure whilst writing it.

Rule 20 for Success

Persist until you win

Now, then... this is most likely the main reason for most business failure on the Internet!

We love to hunt, we love to look for new and great opportunities - and there is nothing wrong with that...

BUT

In the end, you have to find a business that you want to do, and you have to stick to it!

And then, when it feels all is lost, stick to it some more. Keep going. Never give up. "Persist until you win"!

O, my goodness, I can hear you say: "That is easier said than done".

Believe me when I say, personally most of my success came after blood, sweat and tears. Fortunately not literally the blood part but definitely the sweat and tears part. Literally.

So I can tell from experience: perseverance is most definitely one of the key ingredients of all success.

One reads on the internet often - and this is an old trick to catch new customers - of the overnight success of this person or that... Mostly this is a load of junk just to catch you, to string you in.

Most of the time success comes from hard work - from sheer determination and persistence.

One saying is that the most successful business men were bankrupt at least three times in their lives...

So how did they become a success then? By persisting - until they win!

Like Gery says in his article on the SFI website: "I'm sorry, but almost all "overnight success" stories you hear about were actually YEARS in the making".

"Failure is the path of least PERSISTENCE."
-Unknown

Do yourself the favor, log in to SFI and read what Gery Carson (President of SFI) has to say about how to make a success, how he personally did it! And learn from the successful people themselves.

"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education alone will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'press on' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."
-John Calvin Coolidge

Have lots of fun and persist till you succeed.
