TripleClicks Seeking Artists for New Music Center & Contest

International e-commerce site, TripleClicks, has announced its entry into the online music arena with a new music center, set to debut on April 1, 2012.  Music artists worldwide are invited to begin adding their music now to get a jump on introducing their sounds to TripleClicks's nearly 1.3 million members.  Registering is FREE, and all artists get their own Artist Page on TripleClicks to promote their music, communicate with fans, sell tickets and merchandise, and more.

TripleClicks president, Gery Carson, emphasizes the site's purpose to help new artists expand their audience: "There are thousands of amazing, unsigned singers, songwriters, and bands all over the world.  Most just aren't able to find a way to break through to audiences that can propel them to prominence.  We want to be the place where these artists can get their music heard. We also think artists will really like how simple and easy we've made it for them to participate."

TripleClicks Music is coordinating its arrival online with a "song-of-the-month" contest.  Artists interested in the inaugural contest may upload an entry before April 1st, 2012.  The entry can be any original song previously recorded or a new, original song written/recorded just for the contest.  There's no cost to enter the contest; and each month there will be a new "song-of-the month" contest to enter.

Beginning April 1st, TripleClicks members in more than 190 countries will begin listening to and voting for their favorites songs in the contest. Each vote also includes an instant download of the chosen song. The song with the most votes at the end of the month wins! The winning song will be featured on TripleClicks's homepage for the entire month of May 2012 and available for download by members.

What's more, the contest will name a winner for each of 14 GENRES each month, giving artists multiple opportunities for recognition and bragging rights.  Genres include:

WOW, I can tell you, this is something that each of us have to learn.

When I started out with this internet business it took me a long time to get my first response from somebody. And then when one of these people said to me: "No thank you I am not interested" - I was devastated!

It literally took me days ...

I tried to persuade him, I asked him what did I do wrong. But all to no avail. He was not interested. That's it.

It took me days, I tell you, days to just get over this one single setback.

What did I do wrong? I thought. It really stressed me out. I nearly stopped doing this work from home business altogether...

This is a mistake that so many people make.

One should learn not to get upset about people rejecting your opportunity.

y that I soo often fall into. And you?

It is so easy for one to get very upset if one person tells you he is not interested in your product. But why is he not interested? One tend to ask yourself. I suppose it is because we so much want to please our clients that it upsets us if they are not interested...

Well guys, one should not let these little things upset you. It tends to slow down your progress. Don’t waste hours trying to persuade that one who are not interested to become interested.

Think of the bigger picture. There are so many other people who are interested in your product that it is seriously not worth your while to spill tears over the one who do not. It is his right not to like it too.

So spend your time in reaching those who want it!

Guys, let us all concentrate on the real task at hand and not fall into the pit of despair over small things. Another example of a small thing is change.

We have a natural resistance to change (or at least some of us do) and so we tend to get upset when things change. Remember change is part of success. One cannot become successful without changing.

If you stay as you are, you will remain where you are. To progress means to change.

Let us accept change as anther minor thing. Let us embrace it and grow from it. Let us not spend major time resisting the inevitable.

Think BIG!

LOL yea and I will rather not tell you what went on in my mind when I read this... But I am sure you can well imagine.

Honestly I am certain that is not what is meant by this heading. Or...?

Seriously though, If you aim for the stars. And if you achieve what you aimed for. Imagine that!. Even if you aim for the stars, and end up in the clouds. Well you did not really achieve what you set out to do yes? But think about it: he who aimed for the ground, still is on the ground today. But you, you are in the clouds already.

Seems to me best is to aim high, yes?

YES!

Just think about this old Latin proverb:

"Fortune favors the bold but abandons the timid."

Interesting that this fact was known by people all those years ago, hey?

Some people do not like dreamers. But it is often said that dreams are the beginning of great things. To me to dream is to think big. One must have big thoughts to start motivating you to start achieving success.

Here is a thought. To start to think big one can start by asking big questions. In stead of asking: "Why am  in this predicament?" one should maybe rather ask the question: "What can I do to get out of this predicament" or maybe "What can be learnt from this predicament". Ask questions that lead you into thinking bigger rather than into falling into a depression about  where you are.

Don't quit

Oooo yessss. Here is the thing: because starting an internet business is so cheap, it is so easy to quit and to simply forget about it.

If you were going to start up a normal shop, just think how much money you will have to invest to get that business off the ground. It likely means you have to build a building (or rent one and have to refurbish it to suit your business), you have to buy shelves, buy stock for the shelves, employ people to pack the goods on the shelves, to clean, etc. And this can very easily very quickly amount to vast sums of money. This is a limiting factor in normal business because few people have the money to do it. But it is at the same time resulting in people not quitting so easily. You do not easily quit on a business that cost you millions to create, now do you?

If you start an internet business (like SFI) it costs you nothing. This is the beauty of it: anybody can start a business. Easy. BUT here also is the danger: because it did not cost anything, it also costs nothing to quit. Did I say it costs nothing to quit? Not really you lose out on making all those revenues if you do quit.

This is a mighty truth: to be a success you must not quit.

This so often happen on the Internet. You still did not achieve success in one business, then the next even better and brighter business opportunity forces itself on you. They jump out of the woodwork at regular intervals. And the one looks better that the next one. Start here, stop there, start the next one - really this is the best opportunity you ever came across. Yes. And so we wave in the breeze, one moment this way and the next minute in a totally different direction. And poof, one fantastic opportunity has to give way to the next fantastic opportunity. Japan Earthquake, 5th largest since 1900

Our hearts go out to all victims and sufferers of natural disasters globally.

And let us not forget, in our global economy it may very well be that all of earth may feel the effect of this shock long after it happened because it affected one of the world’s huge economies. It is estimated that the economy of Japan contributes about 15% of the global economy. That is a vast number. So we all may become victims of the Japan quake to some extent.

It is only natural for us to think especially of what happened in Japan on Friday March 11 2011, because the magnitude 8.9 earthquake was the 5th largest in earth’s history since 1900 but let us not forget all the other people currently suffering from natural disasters globally as well. The worst previous earthquake that hit Japan was in Kanto and it was a magnitude 7.2 earthquake in 1923 that killed 143 000 people.

This quake lasted so long (some people were talking about three minutes long) that people had time to grab cameras to make it one of the best documented earthquakes so far. People had to grab onto shaking walls to try to remain standing. Others hid under desks as they were still in the office. And then there were those who had to run for their lives to get away from falling debris. Some covering their heads with whatever they could find.

And then to crown it all, this mega-thrust earthquake was followed by a massive tsunami!

Japan was fortunate in that they were to some extent prepared for the earthquake but the tsunami had devastating effects on life and property alike. It was amazing to sit in front of the TV and see how boats, cars homes and even whole buildings are carried away in the water. It really hurts to think how those poor people, who survived all of this, must now feel. It is keeping one spellbound to look at the images that reaches us via television and the Internet.

Huge heaps of debris containing people’s valuable property from boats to cars to houses, and very likely bodies too.

It is interesting that it also is not just one earthquake. Two days before this, there was a so called foreshok and quite a few aftershocks as well. Each of these are quite sizeable earthquakes in their own right.

Send praise down (and criticism up)

Aah and this is an interesting one: if you want those reporting to you to be positive and contribute to your business, then the best way to do it is to praise them. Give them approval for what they are doing and also give them advice.

All in all it is of the utmost importance to spread a positive attitude in order to improve results.

You will be empowering your whole business by sending praise to those reporting to you.

But, of course if you do have criticism, send it upwards. Send it to the person you are reporting to or the person handling support. Those are the people who are there to listen to your criticism and act on it if it has a valid base. This also improves the business overall.

Remember this rule for success: Send praise down (and criticism up)

Of course in the business model of the SFI system they built in many a tool to assist you in both sending praise down as well as criticism up.

Examples of fantastic tools they built for you, as a team leader, that you can utilize to recognize and praise your down line, are things like the mailers that will send emails to all your personally sponsored affiliates (PSA) or co-sponsored affiliates (CSA) or any combination of these. There are Team Talk messages you can leave for your PSAs, CSAs or both. These messages will be displayed on the SFI site every time they log in to SFI.

Of course there are up line communication tools too. To communicate with your up line, to make suggestions on how to improve the system and various ways to contact the support team.

Focus

Do you also find yourself page hopping?

Wow, the Internet is so full of most interesting things, all distracting you from the job at hand.

At least it is for me - and I can just imagine so it must be for many people.

Focus must be one of the most difficult things to do, especially if you start an Internet business.

I will be working on one thing, and as true as Bob is your uncle, I will see another fantastic money earning opportunity, and another, and another. Then I try this and then I try that. Never do I get to the point that I do one continuously.
